Hi there. Im Deady and I am currently downloading Urban Terror because I recently switched to Ubuntu and needed a good game to play. Just wanted to introduce myself and such and wasnt quite sure where to do it...or even if that sort of thing is done here.

I dont really play a lot of video games, but one that I do play and whos forum I am rather active in is a game called Toribash. which can be downloaded for absolutely free here. and if you like the game, the forum is a very helpful, and is unlike any other video game forum I have seen thus far, here it is.

Anyways, I have about two minutes remaining on my download, so hopefully it will work and I will be around a bit more.

I have just joined the forums as well.
I am also from the Toribash forums, where I can be found as steve.
I play urban terror because it is one of few multiplayer FPSs on mac.
I've been playing for at least six months now as steve, deady just showed the forums to me.
Hope to have a nice time here!

welcome to urt and you might as well uninstall the other games. you wont need them anymore. =)

Toribash eh? I watched the trailer for it on the website, looks badass. It sort of reminds me of clayfighter. :laugh: I'll give it a shot on the weekend, I'm happy to see that they support mac.

Anyway, I think you'll find that Urban Terror is another prime example of an 'absolutely free game' that is very fun. I hope to see you in-game!

wouldnt it be great if the made Urban Terror OS, that only installs urt, and on boot, urt starts automatically

Yas, come on now, we are new to these forums, not the internet. I think Spock and I both encounter trolls pretty regularly on the Toribash forums :P But feel free to try.

Urban Terror is the best free fps game for mac that will run on low level machines. Never gets boring.
