This year I decided to replace Santa Claus: I offer you my last map "Metropolis".
The atmosphere inspired films: Blade runner, 5th element, starwars, ...
Specially made for the 5vs5 CTF, it is also playable in TDM, TS and Bomb.
Presentation of the map:
In 2144, "Metropolis" is one of many megacities that cover 60% of the few areas still emerged on earth.
Insecurity is such a scourge that the entire population remains holed up in his apartment and living by proxy through holographic replicants.
As the occupations are not many, networked games like "Urban Terror" have taken a disproportionate importance.
So much so that fighting using virtual holographic replicants are organized in the real world.
Some unscrupulous coders arrived to circumvent the protections of the game to commit crimes in the real world through these replicants.
An agency of the unified territories was established to combat this scourge.
His mission: identify, locate and destroy any potential cheater.
Precisely, a team of cheaters has been localized in an apartment at the other end of town... Then: Action!
All shaders were created or modified to obtain the desired ambiance.
The sounds were recovered from the site: www.universal-soundbank.com and adapted for the map.
The textures were created, modified or adapted especially for this MAP (mainly from the pictures : www.cgtextures.com).
I made myself the models, not easy but I found it rather fun.
I still have some optimization to be done to gain a few FPS more...
Thank you all the ~SG~ clan for having shared their experiences for the achievement of this map.
I also thank Kalish for these good ideas and Landouille for these good tips on gameplay...
For cons, I did not thank the cheaters, who are becoming more and which will eventually kill this good game...

I especially made a big optimization work for better FPS and fix all the bugs I had been reported.
So normally, No possibility to descend down the towers or to hang down or getting stuck...
I took the opportunity to add some visual effects and sounds... I'll let you discover...
Only for the TDM mode: the "mr. Sentry" machine guns were placed in the respawns to avoid turning them into slaughterhouses in case of an imbalance between the 2 teams
