Hello everyone. I'm a total n00b at modeling, funstuff, skinning, etc. but I have been given the task of doing some skinning. I need to put a logo on the front and back of the vest (for all models), as well as put a logo on the front and back of the helmet.

I downloaded Gmax and started to get working on it. Being that I have no experience I quickly became confused. I tried to follow some forum steps and tutorials, but I was still having trouble.

I was told that in order to put these logos on, all I have to do is skinning, not modeling (which is Gmaxe's primary purpose I think).

My questions:
Does anyone know the best way to do this?

Do I need to download a different program?

Is it really just skinning, or modeling too?

Is there a different thread that talks about this that someone can point me in the direction of?

Can anyone help MEEEE!?
