How to set gravity

I run servers goin to start running all again all bugs are being worked out of server. I was wondering if theres a way to set gravity to 200 so I do not have to set per time. I guess I would like it to set per map more than anything. I have tried in the mapcycle with the cvars but as soon as the map changes nothing goes to map default. I can get it for one map through the target line with a config file made but would like to do to certain maps by itself. I have heard that is not possible but have been on servers where either the admin is there doin it but seems to be all the time that this happens there. I have tried to contact the server admins and no response witch is fine so I thought I would ask here.

Thanks

I thought once gravity was set in-game using rcon in the console, it will stay until the server is exec'd again or it is manually changed. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

@edit-
Sorry (my bad) I read your post wrong. You want to change gravity to different levels for different maps. Not sure I can answer that one.

{
g_gravity value
}

Didnt try this yet but read it would work. Hope I could help.

server.cfg add this line

set g_grav 200

so when your server rstarts, crashes, shutsdown no matter what when it comes back to live your grav will auto go to 200.

Every time a map cycles, gravity gets reset to 800 after all other config variables are set. I don't know why this is the case, but it is.

There are some scripts that poll a server and when they detect that the map has changed, they issue an rcon command to set gravity. I use BigBrotherBot and its configmanager plugin to set gravity after a map change and it works perfectly everytime. With configmanager, you can specify configs for each map, gametype, or overall.

I also want to set gravity on one map in my map rotation.

now you CAN set the gravity on all maps by adding the gravity 200 to you server.cfg file but all maps will be in low gravity.

this is what the guys that made the game mod say should work....

ut_oildepot
{
g_gravity 300
}

It Didn't work
I have also tried

ut_oildepot
{
gravity.cfg
}

with the cfg file having....

set g_gravity 300

as the only text in the file.
It Didn't work either

hope they address this in 4.2

also firing range is in the ctf map list and the map has no flags and once voted in it runs forever and empty's out servers fast.

*****

the new update needs to have a no run map list.cfg file
like an..

exclude.cfg
A file that has maps that will not run on the server no matter what....!!!!!
