hey guys

I am having issues where I'll run 125fps for about 10-15 min (time varys) then it drops to 34-60fps (sometimes dropping down to 14-20 or jumps back up to 125 for a time)

my specs are as follows

Dell XPS M1330

Vista Home Premium
Service Pack 2
DirectX 10.1

CPU
Mobile DuelCore Intel Core 2 Duo T7500, 1600Mz (8X200)

Ram
2Gigs DDR2 SDRam

Video Card
Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS 128MB

lemme know if you need anything else. I'm at my wits end and getting very fustrated

thanks
dave

could it be possible that your cpu, graphiccard goes in battery saving status?

chops are usually RAM-related. I.E. running too much sh@t at once and downloading illegal child pr0n.
anywayyyy... quit everything else, stop running vista, and buy moar ram if the problem persists.
no, seriously, vista runs all kinds of background processes that don't help your urt game.
btw, those skips are probably blank spots in what is normally green on the lagometer. watch for that.

that may be also overheating.

after a point the GPU downclocking to something safer. check overheating in general, how to keep cool the system.
