[Suggestion] Model Visibility

Seriously, It's insane how neon they are.
And if anyone complains about how hard they are to see already, they need to get glasses.
IMO Team colours of earth green and brown would be better, they're atleast more dull than the current.

Obviously you're not very good at the game if you think the models should be harder to see. Urban Terror is a fast, arcade-style game. Models should not blend with the scenery. The orange model already blends a lot in the brown/orange style Tub does his maps in. It's very difficult to see "red" on Austria, for example. My corrected vision is much better than 20/20, so please don't tell me I need glasses. Honestly if you want some tactical camp/crawl/prone fest, go play AA or Rainbow6. Trust me, when you get better, you'll see what I mean.

Look for the movement, instead of the colour. Then analize it.

Duh, that's what I do. It's just much much easier to see blue on said maps. On Turnpike it's the opposite, as blue can be harder to see in dark areas (but no where near the difference on Austria). Like I said, this isn't a tactical shooter, I shouldn't have to be watching for movement. It's not extreme; I can still see red decently on Austria, I just think it's not optimal for UrT's gameplay style.
I also agree with toning down the neon stuff. Red is a much better color than orange.
How about people who want hard-to-see models make custom maps with custom bundled skins so they can play UrT in a tactical shooter environment? Then the rest of us who enjoy UrT for its fast gameplay can play with proper skin colors.

it would only be good if the server had the choice of which skins you could use... but at the moment it would load the last skin in the client+server directory (i think) rather than what is in the specific map pk3, but i suppose FS might figure a way to do that. with custom funstuff the client can switch their own funstuff on and off at will, but i still find it annoying when people have huge oversized heads.
maybe having per map setting is the way forward again? or a look into how Warsow lets users custom define their colours http://www.warsow.ne...le=Teams_Aspect
i dunno... just thinking aloud.

Don: It's not that I want a tactical shooter, I'd just play Cod4 if I did. I just find it's incredibly easy to see people.
