try to bind the command to another key.

bind m                            "togglemenu"                         // Toggles The Menu Frame


and that could be usefully ,too.
bind g                            "ui_selectgear"                      // Gear Selection Window


copy this 2 lines in your autoexec.cfg

I bought a new keyboard, now it works perfectly fine. Must've been my escape key...weird.
