[Bug Solved] Not Logic Thing With Bomb Rate Topic: -----

Terrorists seem to have a remote

Hello,

When red kills blue in bomb mode, they still have to defuse the bomb otherwise it will blow up. But when red kills blue the bomb suddently is not armed any more. So the terrorists seem to have some sort of remote do disarm the bomb when they win. So why does the SWAT not just use that remote to disarm the bomb then?

I think you are a little confused. There are a couple different scenarios that normally play out:


Scenario 1: Red plants bomb (bomb is now ARMED). Blue kills red. Blue must diffuse bomb or everyone dies. If bomb goes off, red wins. Even though the whole team died, their mission was successful. Obviously, if blue diffuses, blue wins since red fails to complete objective.

Scenario 2: Red plants bomb (bomb is now ARMED). Red kills blue. Red wins since bomb can go off and red can hightail it out of there without getting killed.

Scenario 3: Red fails to plant bomb (bomb is NOT armed). Blue kills red. Blue wins because red cannot complete objective (since everyone is dead).

Scenario 4: Red fails to plant bomb (bomb is NOT armed). Red kills blue. Red teams win, since they can now do whatever the heck they want.

Right, but if you stand next to the bomb you will notice that it stops beeping. So the bomb is suddenly disarmed, although nobody defused it.

So there has to be remote control for the bomb :D

Scenario 5: Red plants bomb. The bomb blows up before being diffused or having either team completely killed off. Red wins because the mission was completed.

Bomb mode seems a little unbalanced to me. I mean, red can plant the gun and then just keep blue away, but blue has to both kill red (Most of the time) and diffuse the bomb. I guess that is part of the fun, fighting against odds to win. What do you guys think?

You don't want to understand my problem, right? It is just a little inconsequent thing that the bomb stops beeping once the red team has won ;)

yea we get it... its superficial as it d0esn't effect gameplay in anyway.

No, it is not solved. Because since there there is a remote, the blue team should just use that remote to disarm the charge instead of difusing it. And since the bomb stops beeping even when there is only one red guy left, every red player has a remote. So why does not blue simply take the remote of the first red guy killed?

And this does affect the gameplay very seriously! :D

that's why usually blue can get to the bomb sites first... they should be defending it.
tbh i think bomb mode is fine the way it is. once people give it a try and learn it properly, then it would be so much more popular.

That is true, but if you are a really bad player like I am sometimes, you get shot within the first minute and then you have to wait. So it is only really fun when all the players around you are about the same level.

i really dont think it affects gameplay that much but you dont really want to get blown up if youre on red and the round ends because then it affects ur k/d ratio. unless whoever survives and/or gets bombed from red team gets a point for dying an honorable death while blowing shit up :]
