I'm a architect technician and I'm doing a lot of 3D of buildings and terrains and whatever I have to do, so I have good skills in modeling.
My question is: "Is it possible to export 3D models from AutoCAD 3D 2010 or earlier to Urban Terror map maker? If yes, is there a plug-in?

Radaint can import these formats:
.ase
.obj
.lwo
.3ds
.picoterrain

If you can export to one of those formats you're in luck.

Thanks for this information. I know that AutoCAD 3D 2010 and earlier can import files into 3DS and make them 3DS... So I think it might works on Radiant well... ? I have to give it a try.

i recommend trying to get ase support for your autocad. TwentySeven has really beefed up the ase support, making it undeniably the easiest and best model format to use in UrT.

after importing it you will have to clip/caulk it still, just a warning if your importing a whole building/area. if its a whole building you will still have to rebuild the whole thing, basically, with caulk or clip so it can be played on.. but at least yo wont have to worry about textures :)

DONT NEED TO ANSWERS TO MY POST... I FOUND ALL MY ANSWERS ON YOUTUBE :P

Ok sorry for this noob questions :D Im learning this program since 2 days and now I'm confortable with GTK Radiant. I made a building with an exterior decoration but now I want to do a hole in the wall for a door? is there a tool to make holes in a hallow wall? or I have to plan my hole for the door and build walls around that hole? That was my first question.

Now my second question is: When Im trying my map, all the textures are missing, they are all black, only the grass appears. I use all the textures in my "textures" folder in q3ut4 that was installed in all the process when i was setting my GTK Radiant on URT. Is it how i build my BSP or... something else... I really didnt find my answers in the forum search. And i didnt find the help manual for it yet.

Thank you

LOL There is no light in my map i was seeing all my textures in dark lol :D SWITCH ON!!

When I go find a Tree in the Misc_model and I put on my map... When im testing my map, the tree doesnt appear. But its in my GTKRadiant, but not in the game, maybe i have to activate something to make the misc_model of the tree appear?
