*Puts on a Aavid Antenbrough voice*
And here, we see the noob in his natural habitat, complaining that a certain game is not like another. Here we see he suggests novel things like the classic auto reload; for people who have no control over the 'r' key and have no experience in reloading. Another is the dreaded 'Nrrrrr make it like CS/COD4 nrrr' 'suggestion'. Her he suggests a 'fire in the hole' annoying, spamming radio call that will be turned off in 9/10 players. He also suggests items that are already in the game. The Map covering things for instance. And another dreaded 'suggestion', the 'classes' choice. Many noobs seem to have a hard time deciding on what load-out they will pick, and their head will erupt in a neuro-explosion if they have too much freedom. *end*
All this business about set classes is simply stupid. In a month you will be able to select the LR300, Vest, HE and Laser in your sleep, I don't really want to have to go: Selection-Class-Machine Gun-Light Machine Guns-LR300
Oh man, it's like you can't improve a game by taking good features from other games
May as well just go through every point since I have time to kill...
Firstly, it wasn't complaining, it was suggestions that I -personally- think would make the game better, you're entirely free to disagree, but try and be a bit more polite.
What's your problem with auto reload? This game is fast paced, and since 99% of players will end up doing it almost reflexively after a while playing, all it would do is remove the little bother of having to press the r key.
As it turns out there's already a 'fire in the hole' type radio message included in the game, so this game must have already turned into CS
The map covering thing happens on lots of maps from my (limited) experience, so it seems like something that could be fixed without having to go mess about with any options.
If you'd read it again, it wasn't a classes suggestion, it was a suggestion to categorise the weapons, not force people into specific roles.
