f1 for MOAR PISTOLZ, but i doubt this as someone has to make the models and skin them, its not 'just' frankie doing animations and readwulf (and 27?) spitting out some code.
i really want to know what the changes in the weaponbalance will be like. ^^

well let's take an educated guess:
its a secondary weapon.
the other secondaries (asides from the shotgun) are either ump or mp5
one is fast, inaccurate, little damage
one is slow, accurate, more damage
I would guess the p90 will be:
fast, accurate, very little damage.

I’ll run the idea past the rest of the team but they are probably keen on the idea of free work considering that we are all doing it for free anyways.
Getting a weapon into the game is actually very easy and even more so if it has a similar frame as one currently in the game. The Beretta and DE share the same basic moving parts as most automatics and it only takes about 30 minuets to swap the parts.
If the weapon is game ready, with textures and LOD’s, I could probably process and have ready 10-20 new weapons a day. The hard part is doing the research necessary to make it function properly as well as finding reference material and the time to properly model it for the game. Anyone can model a 30,000-poly weapon but it takes some skill to do the same model at 800.
As for dual weapons the sequence has been added to the definition file and will be included as part of the new animation code.
