Well thank you sir! After building a few i7 systems for clients and getting an in depth chance to play with them I have learned a lot. Overclocking has become quite different as compared to the Core 2 Duo/Quad line. There are a few more factors to take into consideration and with the introduction of turbo, the scope has changed. I will probably create an overclocking guide for the new i5/i7 proc's to help users once I clean up this guide... hopefully finish this guide by the end of next week.

Nice info on this. Will probably help lots with gameplay and the economical problems they might be facing because I'm guessing you listed several cheap but good items. :)
When you look bad ingame, and your rep is horrific, who u gonna call?! NOT ME YAY :D

I hope someone from the thread adminship sees sticking a buying guide - that doesn't even get updated - with prices too is pretty 1) pointless - it gets outdated fast 2) questionable on motive to the 3rd viewer.

holy.. you even get urls to a specific business.

I know the work is a lot, but sometimes the work is pointless or questionable.

personally, I wouldn't even touch a thread with prices and links to a shop.

bad reputation there on a silver platter.

Im surprised you didnt show the i7 860 which makes it even cheaper to build
you then pay less for a mobo since its socket 1156 either p55 or p57
and as for video the ati hd5770 beats the gtx 260 core 216 for 157

cons on the proc and mobo is you cant use x58 so ddr3 will only run dual channel
